Kingsrent

Kingsrød has 40 years of experience with horse trucks and knows the market very well. They are an importer of, among other things, horse-drawn carriages and other transport vehicles. Equestrian sport is a very exciting niche sport that has increased in popularity in recent years. The various cars are spread over a number of different locations and are rented out via partners in equestrian sports. The service has been a great success and the athletes rent the horse-drawn carriages for rallies, training sessions and competitions.

Challenge

The sport is quite expensive for the athletes and the horse-drawn carriages, and are often only used during selected periods of the season for events. Kingsrød decided to start renting out their horse trucks, and in a short time they established a brand new rental service called Kingsrent. This is a sport in growth and they see a lot of opportunities in offering rental and sharing models.

On Kingsrent’s website, customers are met with an overview of which trucks are available for hire so you can rent a truck online whenever it suits you. The truck will then be ready at the place you have chosen. This is smart both for your wallet and the environment.

When digitizing the order flow, you get a better overview of the truck fleet, showing customers, payments and calendars with available inventory. They increased automation through online customer bookings which freed up time from coordination – time that can be used to further develop the business.
