Signing rental agreements just got a whole lot easier – and smarter.

All bookings made through Sharefox already require your customers to accept your rental terms before completing a reservation – by checking an approval box. With our new integration with Criipto, you can take this one step further with electronic signatures and identity verification.

If you rent out high-value products and rely on rental agreements, this is a game-changing upgrade. It speeds up your workflow, strengthens security, improves the customer experience, and gives you stronger documentation – all while reducing the risk of errors and misunderstandings.

We’re excited to announce our new partnership with Criipto, a leading provider of digital identity and e-signature solutions. With this integration, you can now offer secure e-signing with national eIDs directly within the Sharefox system.

E-signatures with Criipto and Sharefox

Criipto supports a wide range of national e-IDs, including:

BankID (Norway & Sweden), Vipps Login (Norway), MitID (Denmark), Finnish Trust Network (Finland), .beID (Belgium), iDIN and DigiD (Netherlands), and Personalausweis (Germany).

This means you can now enable secure, legally valid e-signatures using trusted eIDs from across Europe – making your rental process faster, easier, and more reliable for both you and your customers.

How the e-signature flow works in Sharefox

1. Send signature request

You can trigger an e-signature request manually or automatically. Customers receive a link via SMS or email to sign the agreement.

2. Track signature status

In the Sharefox admin dashboard, you can monitor the status of each e-signature.

3. Contract signed

Once signed, the system logs the event, attaches the signed contract to the order, and emails a copy to both the customer and your team.

How to get started with the e-signature feature

To enable it, simply send a request to support@sharefox.no. Please note that this is a premium feature, and you will receive a tailored offer upon request.

When contacting us, be sure to specify which type(s) of signature you’d like to use:

• BankID / e-ID Signatures – Verified through trusted e-ID providers such as Norwegian BankID or Swedish BankID
• Drawable Signatures – Hand-drawn signatures, powered by Criipto Signatures
